A Study in a Snowflake

Take a walk in nature and you might not see the nuances of each piece. But study one, and you realize those nuances are infinite. Such was the case with my study of a snowflake. I found through deconstructing then digital rendering the mathematical structure of a snowflake, it could eventually become an immersive experience or gallery for a viewer (as seen on the right). The pictures below represent the process from drawing concepts to 3D printed renderings on plexiglass to digital galleries.
